Stratford Place Grand Re-Opening

RiverHills Bank proudly supports another Affordable Housing Project. Through partnership with Fairfield Homes, Inc., RiverHills Bank was able to provide a $8,500,000 Construction Loan converting to a $3,400,000 Permanent Loan, along with a $2,075,000 cash-collateralized construction loan. Stratford Place was one of the first 4% LIHTC developments to utilize RiverHills Bank's cash-collateralized construction loan structure.
Millie Hurtt, VP, Development Officer, was honored to represent RiverHills Bank at the Dayton Ohio Grand Re-Opening of 100-unit Senior Affordable Housing project called Stratford Place, a newly redeveloped affordable housing community serving seniors and individuals living with disabilities. RiverHills Bank joined project partners and community leaders in celebrating the successful completion of this important redevelopment. The event highlighted the collaboration required to preserve quality affordable housing and the lasting impact these partnerships have on residents and the surrounding community. Ms. Hurtt shared RiverHills Bank’s congratulations and said “A project like this doesn’t come together by accident. It takes a village, a shared mission, and a complex stack of resources and expertise to make something this meaningful possible. We’re grateful to have been one part of that village.”
Stratford Place underwent a comprehensive redevelopment that preserved long-term affordable housing while modernizing the community for current and future residents. The renovation included significant upgrades to apartment homes, building systems, accessibility features, and community spaces, creating a safer, more comfortable living environment for seniors and individuals living with disabilities.
The redevelopment demonstrates what can happen when developers, lenders, service providers, and community partners work together toward a shared mission. Through innovative financing and strong partnerships, Stratford Place will continue providing quality, affordable housing for years to come while enhancing residents' quality of life.
