Many helping hands and hearts went into bringing this project to life. The new Hope House Mission’s Men’s Shelter is the perfect example of the great works that can be done when the various institutions, organizations, and members of the community join together for a cause.

With over 1,000 Cincinnati men, women, and children sleeping on the streets every night, Tender Mercies realized the need to provide more affordable housing options. 821 Flats provides a place for over 50 individuals to call the Queen City their permanent home.

The need for affordable housing is still very evident. Applicants were quite literally lined up at the doors to the Administration Building at the Blacklick Crossing Apartment complex in Reynoldsburg, Ohio hoping to qualify for one of the new units.

Providing families with secure housing provides a measure of stability that they might never have had without the support of organizations such as RiverHills Bank, Spire Development, OHFA, and more.
